It's been a whole year today, since setting up my studio and gallery space at The Courthouse, www.thecourthousebushmills.com and what a journey it's been. I've had the privilege of meeting so many local people, some connected to my years growing up here and many more from all over the world. In addition of course, I've got to know a number of fellow artists and makers while under the roof of this wonderful project, all sharing our work and love of the Causeway Coast.
On a personal level, I've gone from working at home in my studio, sending work out to galleries and having little human contact in the art world, to a buzzing and vibrant artists' hub at the heart of the community. Now I'm meeting the people who are viewing and purchasing my art, and having the opportunity to run workshops for groups of people eager to explore their own creativity. So with thanks to Enterprise Causeway and The Courthouse, here's to another fabulous year of creativity and joint success.
